Its my birthday.

And i haven had a proper birthday celebration for years. (note: proper meaning with cake lol)

my birthday always falls on exams(when im back in msia), or before the exams, or when the semester just started(last year).

but this year, it's a holiday in Glasgow.

a holiday on my birthday.

well, first i thought nobody remembers cause its the starting of a semester and everyone is busy settling down or busy choosing FYP. 

so i just planned on going for a dinner with the bf.

and i din ask much bout where we were going. 

he just asked me to wear nicer.

and so i did. at least i think i did la XD

then, thought of "practicing" my make-up skills.

T_T im really bad at it and since there's a chance so i just tried.

who knows.....

when its about time, he called and ask me to call peiling and go with her.

i was so shocked that time! because im not prepared to meet others!! lol..

not that i din wan to meet others..i just din expected it..

and that is why i "practice" my make-up. 

if i knew im going out the with so many i wouldnt tried it on laaaa..

i felt that i look horrible with my make up XD cz im not good in it. 

anyways, i went down and walked to the restaurant with my batchmates. 

so here goes..

a happy bday note and i "borrowed" rose on the table.

then we ordered our food.

i kinda like this, it looks like a common custard pie, but there's a secret on top of it. 

so, after all the food, everyone just sat and talked.

then, i suddenly noticed they started singing The Birthday Song.

so...i turned and saw this cake...

really din't expected there's still a cake.

well, i din expected all these at the first place. 

was quite shocked and i really felt so happy!!

because, its a birthday cake! i've been wanting my own birthday cake!!

neh neh =p honestly, i haven blow a cake for a real long time..

i like the way the cake is decorated. =]

so, after dinner we walked back together.

took some pictures when im back in my room.

then, the bf said he wanna head back to his room to continue on his work.

and he'll come find me later when he's done.

so i said okays!

then, i continued on my work as well.

and i called my dad at around 12am (7am msia time) and tried to hint him that today's a special day.

but i guess he was preparing for work and he din hear me clearly.

he just answered "remember to take your meals on time and dont sleep so late, I need to work already, talk again later."

haha, so cool.lol i expected that haha..because my dad never remembers my birthday every year. 

so..i continued on my work.

and i got a little stressed out and called the bf to ask something about the work.

then, he said he's coming up now, so we can discuss it when we meet.

so i waited for him to come, and when he arrives...

he said " come down with me to my unit a while."

i felt something was going on obviously..

but he insisted on me following, so i went with him wearing my sleeping shirt and a jacket.

when i arrive his unit, the bf make sure my eyes are close.

 then, i heard Harry's voice.

and some others which i couldn't identify at that moment.

then..when i walked into the living room,

the first thing that i hear is "PAK PAK PAK!!!" ( i couldnt see that time)

then when i first opened my eyes, i only see a cake in front of me.

as it was the only thing lighted in the room.

made wishes..

and blow~~~~~~~~~

this was how i looked like last nite.

omg..such a mess!!

then, the lights were on and i finally see everyone around me.

and, everything around me.

they decorated the room with lots and lots of colourful balloons!!!

they even spelled my name with it!

i was in a REALLY SHOCKED stage!

omg! now then i realised thats me! -.- who put that orange balloon in my hood!! lol

then, the guys started playing around with the balloons..

and, they started hitting ppl with it.. HAHAHA!

i forgot what he said, but he definitely said something that made everyone hit him! HAHAHA!

this was the thing i heard the moment i walked into the living room.

and, when everyone's busy playing and chit-chating...

haha, i had a really wonderful night yesterday.

im not the kind of person who expressed my feelings easily.

i may looked perfectly calm last nite.

but honestly, i was shocked and surprised.

i dont know how to react at that moment.

this is the first time in my life having such a big surprise birthday party.

to every single one who's involved last nite.

some planned, some bake and decorated the cake, some blow the balloons(which i know its not easy), some drew on the balloons, some sacrifice their beauty sleep, some have to get hit by balloons, some helped to cut the cake, some helped to finish the cake, some attended even when they have something else to do, some attended even though they're still suffering from jetlag. 

i really appreciate all these.

and im glad i had this wonderful memory during my final year of uni life.

overall 2012 summer break.

dear bloggie,

i've started my first day of my final year yesterday.
im not fully prepared for it.
as my heart is still in the holiday mood.

i felt as if i have not been having holidays due to the placement i did back in msia.
but when im back here.
i noticed...i actually DID had my holiday.
and all of it was great. so...next time if i start complainin that i din get enough of holiday, i'll smack myself. lol.

first of all,

Amsterdam!

then, i went to Westlife concert in Glasgow.
my first time to a concert in my life!! lol so excited!!!

they're wearing kilts! it feels really special because i've been listening to their songs since many many years ago.

used to listen to it every nite before i go to bed.

until my radio tape spoilt. -.-"

haha! im so glad i went!!

then, i wen to Oban.

really good seafood at a reasonable price! 

i would like to go again if the place isnt so far away from Glasgow. 

XD

then, a trip to the Highlands and Edinburgh with my Alevels frens, and their batchmates.

this was the only decent picture of everyone. as in..i just noticed i only have one complete group picture with me.

i was quite scared at first that it would be awkward..but it turn out to be quite a good experience cz all of them were so nice..

and thennnnn,

i went to Italy.

with my two bros and my mum.

and my bro's fren's family. 

then, back home!! i get to eat whatever i want!!

my dad bought me this because he knows how much i miss them!

its something like popiah..just wrapped with seaweed. 

i gets to eat ice cream!!!

haha not just any ice cream..but the ones that i loveeee! hehe!

then, i also gets to eat Lei Cha.
to those who doesnt know what it is..
its a Hakka dish, where it contains of mainly vege.

and i love it! love it!!!

then, i get to play with all my doggies!

which i misses them every single day!

haha! not like im spoilt or what, but seriously everyone loves their own room right? =p

then, i get to meet with the girls, which i haven met for such a long long time.

oh! and i also gets to pay a visit to Publika. thanks to shiang horng who brings me there.

 then, what is a holiday (for me) like if there isn't any time spend with my parents..
so, going to a temple still counts! =)

then, i went to pay a visit to my aunt who used to take care of me and my bro when we're young.

then, i can have japanese food!! 

hahaha! not my fault that i miss it k?

this has always been a dream to me.
not because i dont get to go travel in the past few years or what.
its because my dad...couldnt get a holiday.
its more like..he's not willing to get a day off.
and i really wants to bring him to travel..even if its only a short break.
he's getting old. and i want him to get what he deserve!
anyways..yes..i get to go on a short trip with them.

then, when im back.
i head to Edinburgh for an interview.

after the interview, we stayed another day to walk around.

so yeah, its counted as a holiday for me.

then, later on..i went to Paris!

and Disneyland!

all this..i'll blog about it someday.
