today's the first day of a new year.

cant believe i've actually blogged for like few years? haha..

its a good thing actually.

i get to recalled many important events in my previous years.

NOTE: ME HAVE BAD BAD MEMORY. hahaha XD

i feel much better now, although i still have lots of flu with me.

but at least im much better. =)

i've missed out the chance to blog on christmas, but im not going to miss out new year.

hehe. and i promised i'll update everything once im done with my finals!

hmm, lets see what's the highlight of my year 2011 that i could recall right now, without lookin at my previous posts.

1. i'm studyin abroad! in glasgow. first time going so far away from home.

2. i celebrated my first anniversary with him in uk. ^.^ (i'll blog about it soon...soon soon soon)

3. i have no idea where i get the thought of sending love back to my family! haha my first time sending a parcel home. and of course some simple cards to my lovely friends.

4. well, first time to a club in uk.

5. first time to cook and do laundry on my own.

6. i feel so much loved by my family, especially my brothers.

7. gettin a call from my darling all the way from aussie right before i fly to uk.

8. oh ya! first time celebrating my birthday in overseas. well, basically i dont get to celebrate my birthday every year.

9. first time saving a FULLY BURNT cake. hahaha!

10. oh! not forgetting! i got my two precious thing! S95(digital camera) and 7s(instant camera)! im glad i got these.

11. i have meenie, new dog in the family.

12. i've got my first starbucks tumbler! =D

13. i've actually tried to speak on the stage during orientation! although it was not a good one.

14. i get to know new young faces. lol my juniors. seriously, joining orientation was one of the best decision i've made. hahaha. i've learn alot of responsibilities and open myself to strangers. (im really bad at talking to new people, even now.) but well, being an OO did help in this.

15. went to Kuching with him. it was a short trip, but i enjoyed my time there.

16. first time seeing snow FROM THE SKY. hahaha!

im pretty sure there's alot more that happened this year!

those that i could recall is obviously the GOOD ones! hahaha, sorry for the mess up sequence!

lol. its sincerely from my brain and my heart!

there's good and there's bad.

well. i tend to shut off the bad sides right now.

i've got plenty of new thoughts in my brain.

a new shoppin list.

this time, i hope i could earn myself for what i deserved.

i'll try to sort things out once im done with the exams.

each day can be a happy day.

i sincerely hope that dream come true for everyone in 2012!

and of course,

health and happiness for everyone!

a very random entry tonite.

feeling so depress now.

firstly obviously cause im sick.

its been weeks, and i tried everything..

from medicine (from msia and also bought from uk) to all kinds of funny methods including salt water, sour plum, orange juice, lemon juice, honey, vicks, traditional medicine. al kinds really.

and why is it still not heal?

im really trying so hard you know..drinking so much of water each day..

and avoiding all my favourite food and drinks.

yes i love biscuits, milo, chocolate drink or coffee.

im willing to avoid all these.

i even avoid eating chicken and eggs.

now, even fish.

sometimes im thinkin is it because God wants me to take over some of my dog's pain.

i've not mentioned anythin in my blog about that yet.

one of my dogs is currently suffering from cancer.

my parents bring her to the vet, and the vet says there's nothing can be done.

it all depends on my dog's will to live now.

im glad that she's still been eating.

and honestly, if i could, i really dont mind doing anythin to reduce her pain.

she's been a real good dog and a good fren of mine.

i dont know what would happen to me if something bad happen to her.

if anyone sees this, please pray for her.

also,

im feeling really depress cause my parents is so worry bout me.

i din wan to tell them that im sick, but i think my bro must have told them.

the reason for not telling them is obvious. i dont want them to be worry.

i can hear it from their voice when they talk to me, and it made me cry.

im the kind that dont really fall sick, not to say im strong but i really dont get sick easily.

and each time im sick, it would be really serious, like now.

im so sorry dad and mum,

to make you all worry.

im doing everything i can to heal myself.

now is really not a good time for me to fall sick.

i have finals soon.

i have to be strong, so that my parents wont worry.

also, i need to be strong for my dog.

i want her to know that i will not give up on her no matter what.

and i hope she dont as well.

Day 91 in UK, in Birmingham.

second day here,

woke up in the mornin receivin a call/msg saying the guys would have breakfast with weisiong's fren.

so my bro brought me for breakfast before we meet the guys.

walked past his uni.

cool right?

the uni is sooooooooooo BIG! with the big field in front!!

and a random river in front.

then we reach this breakfast place, i forgot whats it called.

but my bro said he thinks that they serve the best food so far in birmingham.

Sunday Roast!!

haha im not a big fan of chicken! but this is nice!!

with the vege and the potatoes!!!

then, dessert time! we share a main course and a dessert..

i forgot whats the name.

but the chocolate cake is sooooooooooo moist!!

with a layer of caramel and a layer of idk wat..lol

but its sooo yummy!!! served hot with the cold ice cream!!

WAHHHHH! and its not that expensive..

then later on we walked back to the train station,

on the way he showed me some parts of his uni.

then, meet up with the guys.

in Bullring.

the three floors Forever 21.

the Bull with sweater! :p

then the guys left to cinema for Sherlock Holmes 2.

XD did i mentioned in the previous post that i went for Sherlock Holmes 2 with my bro..lol

yea..went for the show but din reli pay full attention as i was so so so tired on the first day.

but overall from the bits i remember its an awesome show!

so, back to the story.

my bro n i walk in German Market for a while before we head home.

this!! haha they(my bro's fren) said that its a must to try this in their German Market.

and its really nice!! haha also im a BIG FAN of MUSHROOM! lol

NICEEEEEEEE!

then we head home,

one of my bro's housemate was havin a birthday party.

lol. me? i stayed in the room cz i feel so paiseh..

and there's quite alot of ppl down there if im not mistaken..

haha but i did went down and wish her =)

and they are so kind! haha..

they offer me tuna spaghetti. its quite yummy!

haha !! and im SO FAT!

i basically eat non stop since i arrive Birmingham.

stuffed with all kinds of food thanks to my brother.. lol

and lastly,

Day 90 in UK, (on the way to Birmingham)

went to birmingham with clement, weisiong, chaoyang and harry.

so excited yet so tiring & exhausting on the train.

cant sleep on the trainnnnn omgggg!

a very nice scene. sorry for the blurness of the picture.

but i actually wanted to show the snow on the mountain.

almost arriving in our destination.

harry and weisiong, sleeping like a pig.

the train delayed, and we arrived around 10/11 plus in the morning.

my brother brought us for dimsum.

i've been craving for it for such a long long time ever since im in uk.

the egg tart is AWESOME!!! really yummy!!

wu kok, i din try it so im not sure how does it taste like.

you cha kueh!

the taste is okayy but then its definitely different from the ones in malaysia.

ok lerrr...dun really like the texture of it.

and alot alot more dim sum as shown in the picture above.

then, me and my brother send the rest off to check in the hotel.

then later on, went back to my bro's place..

and basically everyone slept thru the day..

and then evening, i meet up with them at their hotel..

their hotel is just in front of German market!! *JEALOUS*

Day 81 in Glasgow

went out to settled the train tickets (to birmingham)..

due to some unknown error on the website, i did not receive my e-ticket..

i called the train hotline twice..dot dot dot..the main thing is i lose money by calling them and did not settled any problem via the fon..and have to head down to the train station and settled it..

troublesome.

but at least its settled before my exam.

went Campus for lunch after that..

i like the curly friesssssss!

mine..chicken breast with bacon and cheese.

as for dinner,

fried spaghetti with chicken slice and spinach.

also, i received some surprised when i had my dinner that nite..

cha-yip dan.. =)

haven't have one for such a long time..

and it feels so warm havin one!!

Day 82 in Glasgow

hmm i think i went to the bank to settled something..

took some random pictures of the bank note before i leave my hostel..

so yeah..i tried cookin it again, but this time it was a bit too watery..

its awesome! they have liquor in it..

holiday startssssss! haha not really HOLIDAY holiday..but its STUDY BREAK HOLIDAY!

but who cares..haha taking few days break wont harm i guess..(i hope -.-)

its my housemate's birthday that day.

din really have time to prepare or plan earlier on due to exam ><

just had a small pot luck and a simple cake for her..

initially it was ALL BLACK!

reason for that is because:

- i used an oven which im not familiar with. (oven that managed to cook a cake within 15-30 minutes)

- everyone is not familiar with the recipe.

lol nvm..we stil managed to save the cake somehow..

tried to removed the whole BURNT layer..

and this was the remaining consumable area..

also i cut it into half to spread cream in it..

and TA-DAAAH!

haha luckily pavi and kahyee managed to get some ingredients last minute!

before they're home..lol..

Day 77 in Glasgow

first thing i saw when i log in to fb that day was full of SNOW..lol

its a sunday, i woke up late of cz..

missed the morning snow..but then according to what my batchmates said it was only a short session..

anyways, was staring at the sky thru out the day as the weather forecast said it will snow later that day..

random. haha suddenly realised that i haven been shooting the sky for quite some time..

thats probably bcz the sky turn dark so SOON these days!

my final piece of BA GUA! ><

well..

it finally start snowing heavily at nite..

like midnite! around 12 to 1am..

was so excited!

haha not because its my first time to see snow..

i've seen snow few years back..only on the ground..

this time, ITS FALLING FROM THE SKY!

its all covered in white! so pretty!

i wish im the first to print my footprints on the ground!

haha..it was snowing for quite long..

saw most of my batchmates went out to play in the snow..

as for me.. well sadly i have a test on the next morning..

hence, no playin snow that night..

went out in late afternoon..

went to shop for winter boots that day..

very very very bad luck..

had my lunch in campus,

pizza..which taste pretty nice..

but most of the sides are burnt..too burnt..

cajun chicken burger..yummy!

then..walked the whole street..

and i din managed to buy anythin..

why??

- its either they got no more size left

- the price is too expensive..eg 90 pounds!

and one more...

it happened when i visited the last/ last second shop..

finally a pair of shoe MY SIZE!

and when i ask for the left shoe(as they only display the right shoe)..

the guy went n look for it for quite sometime and return to tell me that,

THEY CANT FIND THE OTHER SHOE!

not in the store, nobody have any idea where it is!!!

OMG! SUI right?!!

Day 75 in Glasgow

went to uni as usual..

then after class, yvonne told me that my parcel arrived already!

luckily she was home that time!! thank you so so so much!

nahhh..she doesnt read my blog..haha sincerely, thank you! <3

honestly,

a simple parcel brightens my whole day!

ALOT!

called my mum to told her that i received the parcel safely!

and what i got back is..

mum : we received your parcel, thank you so much.

did you send anything expensive?

me: errr..nope, why ask so? only the gift for you all.

mum : cause one of the packet of junk food you send was opened by the postmen(most probably), and the postmen was kind enough to OPEN YOUR PARCEL, ATE HALF PACKET OF THE JUNKFOOD...AND PUT IT BACK INTO THE PARCEL! (haha she did not say it in this way..lol..but yeah the meaning is about the same)

me : OMG! so KIND of him! XD

then talk abit, then end call as i was a little busy that time..

anyways..

i honestly expected my parents to scold me when they received it! hahaha!

i expected scolding yet i still send it..LOL stupid me..

but i just wan people i care to be happy!

im so glad that at least my parcel still arrived safely to their hands..

despite the action by the "kind postmen" Xp

im really happy!

went to photocopy and send some stuff off after class..

on the way back, i grabbed something from sainsbury..

Day 67 in Glasgow

went to the Christmas market again..

this time, with more ppl..

the wind lately had been so strong that all the leaves are no longer on the trees.

in George Square.

i will definitely go back there again to take some pictures at night! XD

when we reach there, everyone starts to hunt for food!

the very very very meaty bread roll ..

its pretty huge! the meat is so much!

well..i tried a bit..not my type..haha

i dun really fancy that much of meat..

but its pretty nice thou..

Day 68 in Glasgow

well..

no pictures..

basically went to class till noon..

surprisingly the biopharm workshop ended quite early..

and we heard some of our batchmates saying that there's this "dont-know what Friday" sales..

so we went to check out the shops..

.....

end up...no sales..

haha! but went to the Christmas Market again!!!

omg..how many days in a week?!

lol..

then, we waited for some of them then eat together in the market..

then head home..

and first thing i realised when im home is..

Day 65 in Glasgow

hehe.

went an did something.

so yeah, settled my lunch outside.

at KFC.

grilled chicken burger or sumthin like that.

then, went to tesco to grab some groceries..

and..passed by the German Market.

haha! its the best memories i had when i first came uk few years back!

my brother brought me to the German Market in Birmingham..

and ever since then, i wanna go again!

and YES! i had the chance AGAIN! WOOHOOO~~~~~

but the coffee machine in the uni just so happen to be "not available" when i went.

so,

starbucks in the cafeteria instead.

i love the hot mocha that day.

im away from home, for officially two months.

had my DD class test.

not sure how i did, but hopefully its not as bad as my biopharm paper.

went straight to shop in Tesco after the test.

hahaha! probably cz we have not been out for such a long long time.

Day 52 in Glasgow

no class today..

cleaned my room and went for grocery shopping.

my lunch today. with clement.

and my dinner,

salad.

and fried pasta.

satisfying meal.

im suddenly feeling very down now.

multiple reasons for that.

i love my blog.

its the only place i get to talk bout what i think, not caring what others think.

i really hope my dogs are beside me now.

they not only listen, but they understand me.

no matter what, they'll be there for me.

for who i am.

a very very very long and stressful day..

had classes the whole day..up till 5..

basically from morning till the sky is dark!

after that, went out with Dr. Kang for dinner.

cz the place was pretty dark..

i have decided to go to the fireworks in the GreenPark or sumthing..

its halloween!

stayed in and cooked dinner.

reminded me of last year,

halloween eve..was the first time i went to a club..

time flies!

its Friday again!

and yes! its my turn to cook this week!

very streessful cz im afraid that i might screw up the whole cooking thing! ><

but anyhow, with the help of my dear housemates and clement..

i managed to cooked something..

i oni managed to cooked this nicely after 2 or 3 times trying..

went to the bank to check out my status..

haiiz..after considering for some time..

i've decided to say goodbye to my lovely pillow(bought it here)..

=( the reason is that..i decided to spend the money on something which i really need..

i cooked myself....

everything done by myself..

woke up in the morning,

went to a class which have been postponed WITHOUT OFFICIAL NOTICE!

wasted my time to sleep,

wasted my lovely croissants... (ate so fast cause i thought i was late)! -.-"

irresponsible lecturer.

anyways,

for lunch, clement offered to cook for me..

so i din cook anything.

his version of suan la tang. (sour spicy soup)

not too spicy, pretty sour! which is GOOD! lol cause i love sour > spicy! =P

then,

the rainy weather suddenly change sunny..

so we decided to go get some stuff..

before it starts raining again..

=) i always wanted a pair of shoe like that. aiiks! Xp

and took some pictures of the sky today.

note that, i did not edit any of these.

and then, its dinner time.

once again,

i cooked a proper meal, all by myself..

from cutting to serving it on a plate.

my version of jiang chong yu pian.

im not a big fan of onion, ginger or garlic last time.

im doing my best to include it in most of my dishes.

my dad is the one who bought me this "jiang chong yu pian rice" last time..

and i started to love ginger!

and right now,

i miss home! very badly!

especially my parents!

Day 29 in Glasgow

went to did some grocery shoppin in SeeWoo.

walked there.

omg! haha its pretty far!!

but it was okay.

we actually found the place!

and i have to admit that guys do have better sense of direction!

Day 27 in Glasgow

very very happy day..

had a wonderful meal with my housemates.

DEFINE WONDERFUL?

haha its actually purple vege(the one ppl often used for salad) with carrots and chicken ham.

very tasty despite the weird look of it.. XD

second dish, omelette with potato, carrots and chicken ham.

hahaha the chicken ham was about to expire..so yeah..

we just throw everythin in..

and chiner...paid alot of effort in making the omelette perfect.

third dish, yummy yummy sweet and sour chicken..

went out today with my housemates + jillian and aily.

had out lunch at Lauders.

Day 21 in Glasgow

woke up early for classes.

was pretty happy cause its Friday!

haha!

im slow i know..lol tml's another friday again.

lol..the tofu have NO TASTE!

i just wanna update abit today..

skipped many many days in between..

and i promise i'll update it as soon as i feel like it..

im feeling a little sad..

not sure whether is bcz im missing home and my parents..

Day 10 in Glasgow

A day trip to balloch. Part 1. i'll start from behind.

and also, been dehydrated for quite some time cz we run out of water on our way back.

so yeah. i ordered mocha.

and i love it!

99 pence for this big cup is better than 1-2pounds at any other restaurant.

and the taste was pretty good for me.

and this was mine.

i dont know whether im too hungry or wat..

but i managed to finish the whole thing..

which is quite surprising to everyone.

haha! the taste is not bad..for me..

cz some of them said its quite dry..

anyways..

Day 8 in Glasgow

we went to some church thing..

as in a local breakfast meal prepared by them, and they bring us to the nearby chinese shop.. (near the church that is) called SeeWoo

Day 7 in Glasgow

weather - cold x 7, no rain if im not mistaken.

hmm..had a short briefing in uni..

after that,

went and walked around..

see if i could get anythin i need before my uni starts..

fat pigeons around George Square.

then we walked around..

went into Primark..and..

haha got myself a shirt..

clement ask me to go see some more clothes at the lady's department while he queue..

so ...yeah of course i went and look around!

after that, he keeps saying he is so so so hungry!

so we went into a coffee shop on our way back..

i forgot the name of it..i'll check the name soon!

then haha..surprised!

lol its actually not prepared yet.

but he got the wrong signal..

hahaha! anyways..i do feel surprised!

Day 6 in Glasgow

weather - cold x 5, honestly cant remember whether it rains or not, but if im not mistaken, its a pretty nice day without rain or sun, just the cool air.

honestly, i really mean to update my blog!

i took so much pictures!

wanna show my family and frens how my life is over here..

nothing much to do, so yeah just went to get some stuff.

Day 5 in Glasgow
weather - cold x 6

my breakfast, warm milk and oreo!

super super nice in a cold weather!

then, at nite,

went to some so called "pub-gathering thing"..

wanted to have a look at their pub..

some pictures taken on the way there and when i reached the "pub"..

clement, harry, alson, weishen, chaoyang and kerhan.

lol din take any pictures with the girls, i was so so so tired!

cause its more to a social gathering place for international students..

no music, no dance, only people from different countries were there drinking beer and talking.

overall, its not a bad place, pretty good chilling place for a bunch of frens.

and i really enjoyed the structures of all the buildings here,

its all very "historical-feeling" haha! i'll show more of the pictures as day goes by..

weather - cold x 3, very very sunny, less rain.

Day 1 in Glasgow

weather - cold x 2, pretty cloudy, and rains occasionally.

after many many hours of suffering on the plane, finally arrived at Glasgow airport.

by suffering, i mean i dont feel so well, not the service or the food of the airline, its just me.

haha, couldnt sleep or eat well on the plane somehow.

upon arrival, some seniors from our uni were there to help us out.

im leaving to uk tonite, which is in a few hours time.

yes. im already missing everything now.

the food (whether its home-cooked or bought from outside), my dogs (all of them!), and most importantly...my family. Oh and my bed, my room!

we went to the book fair in klcc..

it was SUPER PACKED!

its super cheap compared to the ones i usually see in bookstores..

i got it at RM 24 or 25 for one book..

compared to the normal price which is around RM 34 to 35..

haha but..according to wat my dad say..

its basically the same if we include money for parking and petrol to travel all the way to kl..

haha..
